in actual the IELTS test is of 2 types :-

- IELTS(General)
The Academic IELTS test is for those students who want to continue their study in abroad or we can say this test is special for students but on other side IELTS (General) test is for those people who want to migrate to abroad for the purpose of working or permanent residency .One most important difference Between thses two tests that the reading part and the writing task is different or these tests and that is why IELTS (General) test is little less difficult as compare to IELTS (Academic ) .
If we talk about the duration and validation of IELTS then its a 2 days test one day only for speaking and other day only for Reading ,Writing and Listening and It vaild for 2 years .The fees of this test varies time to time .
